Question about 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager
Please tell me if this is normal? although I have this car for about 10 years and this never happened. if the airflow is on the front window position, the air conditioning is working even if the air conditioning button is turned off!!!
I took the car to the service in Bucharest and the "experts" there told me this is the way the chrysler works and it is normal!?!!!???
how can it be normal cause I'm freezing my *** off if I don't turn on the heat? (at 15-20 degrees outside I have to turn on the heat!)
please tell me if you know about this problem, and where is it from? where should i look? how can I fix it?
Yes , when your in defrost mode, the compressor runs, and adjusting temperature control up a little, may get you through. When you go to heat mode, compressor shuts off. The idea of the compressor running is that it assists in removing moisture(humidity) to speed up the process of defrosting.
