Fault code 45- how do i repair it?

1995 subaru legacy twin turbo manual wagon, the engine check light is spitting out fault code 45, Hello, Did you solve this problem?, I have tc 45 and poor erratic idle. I'm trying to find out which solenoid it is exactly. I'm not sure if it refers to the differential air sensor solenoid on th o/s/f bulkhead or the air sensor (map type sensor in the solenoid box) my code appeared 2 days after I cleaned the solenoids and vac pipes out so i'm presuming that a bit of dirt may have got stuck in the solenoid. When I get chance I will have a look. Also I think that if poor fuel is used it opens this solenoid to cut the second turbo off to prevent damage possibly caused by knock...

The code 45 in a later model is for the AWD control module causing harsh shifts. On a 2000 model the warranty per recall is 8 years and 100,000 miles. For your model you can try calling a dealer about recalls.

run the fault but all you describe is operated from the VSS sensor ( vehicle speed sensor)
it tells the cruise control the vehicle speed , tells the TCM the vehicle speed so that ratios can be changed, activates the speedo, and will report with a check engine light to report a transmission problem
run the fault codes first

How do i get ride of code FUEL TEMP SENCOR

Codes related issues have to be diagnosed & find
a problem & fix it

There is no getting rid of dash lights,MIL Lamps,
check engine lights or any resetting of things

You have a vehicle fault or failure & it has to be repaired

ALWAYS--- ALWAYS

I fail to see after 35 years of these systems, no one
knows much about their vehicles

It sounds like a lack of fuel to the injectors. check the fuel manifold pressure and the regulator. run fault codes to check for faulty sensors.

1996 Subaru Legacy GT - Twin Turbo, manual trans: started spitting a lot of white smoke out of the exhaust. It did that when the car started then seemed to be ok when in idle but when on take off and...

Expect to hear your head gasket needs replacing, at a minimum. White smoke means it's burning coolant. How much it will cost I can only guess, but usually a head gasket repair- a few hundred dollars-it's pretty time consuming and labor intensive, especially with all the turbo stuff that could be in the way. Good luck.

the 1st thing that needs to be done here is to find what fault code is turning on the check engine light, this information is absolutely crucial to making an accurate diagnosis of this problem, guessing is not an option as each part that could cause this is very hard to replace and very expensive, so get the the engine control system tested, this is what is called OBD 1 electronic engine control and requires a Subaru scanner to read code.
