Question about 1994 Toyota Pickup
Truck does not start unless full throttle, runs rough exhust smells badly of raw fuel. fuel literally pouring out of exhaust any where possible. Removed all spark plugs, all are fouled. cleaned all plugs, retried same thing happened. air filter clean. Gas POURING out of exhaust when started. We replaced the valve cover gaskets, and this is when the gas problem occurred, when it was put back together.
The valve cover gasket change is related only to the extent of needeing to remove something else . There is the fuel pressure regulator and the MAF SENSOR talks to the ECU telling the computer how much fuel is needed for proper mixture of thre air passing into the intake. It is the first sensor in the intake duct coming out of the sir filter. Make sure all the injectors are secure in wiring connection and look around for any other that had to be removed. All plugs mean it isn't just one injector. Unplug and replug the MAF. cHECK THE THROTTLE POSITIO SENSOT. iT RIGHT THERE where the fuel likage is attached.
