Hi Jim, What about the rack ends? They also wear out. Chock the wheels and apply the parking brake, jack up the front end and test for play by moving the road wheels left and right by hand. If the play is there remove the rubber boots and check for wear on the rack ends (coming out from the rack) If you see movement from the rack its self the whole unit must be replaced. Regards John
you can get your self an O2 socket or a 7/8" wrench. Unplug the sensor, remove it, and install the new one. Plug the new sensor in. Clear the codes and you should be good to go.
there are sertin machins that test relays but they are few and far between the best way to test them your self is to locate a simmaler relay and swap it with the suspect one if the relay you swap t it with starts to work then the relay was bad if not then your problem persist elsewhere
I woudl say either A) the sensor on the wheel is bad, or B) the unit needs service. Refer to a reliable auto center for inspection.
abs is anti-lock braking sytem.
It sounds like what you described, the shock tower mounts needs to be replaced. I believe you can buy that tower mount are the dealer and have the old one cut out and the new one welded in place. If your lucky it's just the rear strut mount it self when bad and the shocks when through the shock tower mounts which is a part of the body of the car. Good luck and keep me posted, hope it's just the strut it self.
