Question about 2005 Honda Civic

No cold air when AC is turned on. Button shows green light. Not sure if AC is turning on or not.

    Dear mvmanish,
    when you put on the ac, do you hear a change in the engine idling sound ? Like the engine has been loaded? Or does the engine idling sound remain the same?

Maybe u need some freion if air blows and and its how and you should get your antifreeze change

If yu didn't already try, make sure your setting is not on defrost or defrost floor. This car automatically puts the setting on ac and recirculation. Turn it he setting off defrost and try again

Does the vw polo 1.6 Comfortline Air-conditioner need a fuse


Not sure whether the fan comes on automatically with air con or not... but if you manually turn the fan on, the vented air should be cold. If not, your air-con system sounds like it needs re-charging. This is not expensive and most decent service centres have the facility. Hope that helps.

I have a 97 Toyota Camry. The AC has been working great and gets really cold. Yesterday as I am driving the light on the ac power button starts to blink, after about 45 seconds the ac turns off and stops...


CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL FUSE.MORE LIKELY FUSE BLOWED BECAUSE AC COMPRESSOR COULD HAVE FAILED IF LOW SIDE IS OVER 100 PSI. THE REED VALVE PLATE IN COMPRESSOR PROBABLY DAMAGED CAUSED COMPRESSOR FAILURE BLOWED THE HVAC CONTROLS FUSE. HAVE AC SHOP CHECK IT OUT.

prob a low charge easy to do get R134a from parts store with hose start with about half a can and check it make sure ac is on max when you charge it light should go off
