Question about 2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
My 2003 Jetta was shutting off, but will turn back on immediately. They replaced my alternator twice in 2 weeks. I wonder if it really was the alternator?!
It's not the alternator it's the wire size that goes from altenator to battery I switched mine to a full size battery cable and never had another problem the altenator wire they us is way to small can even melt fuse box on top of battery from trying to draw to much power

If the problem was in the alternator, the battery would have been discharged and you would not have been able to restart the car (unless jumped, but not have run for more than a few minutes before shutting down again) So, my answer: No.
