Take off the cover underneath the dash. Push the rubber boot down at the very bottom (Sometimes you have to cut them a little to move them down far enough) Should be an 11mm bolt down there someplace. then disconnect everything and take off the other bolts should be 13s or 15s going straight up. then just yank it out to separate it from the rack and it should come right out.

Get it scanned again. If you bought cheaper ones at the parts store instead of oem ones from the dealer you are probably going to be doing them again. The upstream and down stream 02 sensors communicate with each other so it could be the upstream sensors even though it says downstream. I ran into this problem myself.

Seems like the brake is locked and the car will not go into gear on my 1996 chevy impala ss

The linkage in the steering column, there is GM used 2 types there may be a bar that passes through a solenoid or a cable... they can be disabled but it will most likely take someone that knows the columns...spend the money and have it disabled unless you have a day or 2 to try it yourself...

That clutch and coil are serviceable without replacing the compressor but I have had little success with this as usually the clutch gets in that shape subsequently from activity going on inside the compressor which means that clutch is failed generally for a reason.replace the compressor -orfice tube-reciever drier and happy motoring......
