Question about 1991 Toyota Pickup
My speedometer on my 91 Toyota pickup used to work but it would kind of flicker back and forth and had a ticking sound. Then one day it was silent and I noticed it wasnt working anymore. I think that the cable has gone bad and I was wondering how much a speedometer cable costs and wether this is something that I might be able to fix myself rather than take it into a shop.. What do you think?
If your speedometer is not electronic, unfasten the speedometer cable from the back of the dashboard instrument assy. Replace the odometer & speedometer unit with another one. Reconect the speedometer cable. This should do the trick.
