Question about 2002 Ford F250 Super Duty SuperCab
My F250 has been blowing the instrument panel fuse. The first time my panel went out, we took it in to a dealership, and they said it was the alternator. We had both the alternator and battery replaced. Later that day, the same thing happened. Had to have it towed to another dealership, and found out it was the instrument panel fuse. Since then, it has blown several more times. Any idea where the problem may be coming from?
My 2002 F350 keeps blowing fuse 45. I lose the instrument cluster (all gauges) and there is no throttle response. Sounds like a wire for the od button is shorting out in the steering column. Remove the ignition switch and column shroud and look for a bare wire. be sure and look by where the boot sits. I am just looking for more info before I try it myself. Hope this works for others.

It sounds like it's grounding out on something. I had that problem on my car, and that is what was happening
