This is your timing belt. The timing belt turns the camshaft and is driven off the crankshaft.
The belt is located under the plastic cover on the engine facing the right fender.
You should replace this belt every 65-75,000 miles.

A total failure like that sounds like a loose battery terminal or the main fuse blown for some reason.

I need timing belt marks for new timing belt on a 1994 Toyota Camry LE 2.2L 4 cylinder

Firstly the no.1 piston should be at TDC (compression).

The upper camshaft sprocket has a smaller hole in the web. This should be lined up exactly with the TDC timing mark behind it on the cam bearing cap. In this position it will be vertically upwards.

At the same time the notch in the crankshaft pulley timing flange should be opposite the 0 degrees mark on the timing marks on the front of the lower belt cover.

Hi,
Now a days, various parts of cars are more of electric powered. The alternator, that produces electricity for the parts in the car and charges the battery for starting,
When the belt broke loose from the alternator, it stop producing electric current for the the system, thus it drained your battery and stop the car from running.
The problem is the alternator bracket that have loosen and dislodge the belt, it happened when somebody did not tighten the bolts and nuts on the bracket.

Hope that helps you out.
Thanks for asking FixYa!
