Question about 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
2000 chevy blazer that blows hot air no matter where climate controls are set . the air temperature coming through seems to run along with the engine temp , because the air gets hotter as the engine temps rise to operating levels even though climate control is off or turned to cold and the a/c is not turned on either
There is a door that opens to the heater core. When the vacum control in the dash gets old the diaphram gets to flimsy to close one port so it puts vacum to all ports. Therefore there is not enough pull to engage the vacum motor to move the trap door.Change the switch in the dash. Check to make sure that there isn't an obstructing object in front of the door before you buy a new switch
