1996 plymouth breeze jumped timing after timing belt replaced ran at idle for 20 mins then stalled no start

check that the belt has not come off
it is doubtful that the belt will "jump" timing after 20 minutes of running so check for other failres

Once the timing belt break, and replaced, still no starting,,,mechanical guy say its the computer, its the second one.

I think I got most of what you said.
If you can not troubleshoot the problem yourself, you'll have to have it towed to a different shop.
You would need to know if you have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and normal compression now that the timing belt has been replaced.

Sound in serpentine belt

one of two things, belt is old and stretched out and slipping over pulleys, or you have a bad bearing in your alternator or other accessory. or one of you accessories (such as a power steer pump) is starting to go out and having a hard time turning causing your belt to slip

I have a 1996 Plymouth Voyager vin #2P4FP2530TR740836 # 3 liter needs timing belt I am getting mixed messages some people say I need a new engine some people say it will be fine what is the true answer?

I have the same van as you and if it is njust the timing belt that is a very easy job to do considering the belt runs around a duel overhead cam the cover is at the top of the motor on the left hand side ( no you dont need a new motor ) i just did the timing on ours again very easy to do if you know the motors i would phone around and see what mechanics will charg to do a timming belt

Good luck!

let me know how things turn out

"1996 plymouth voyager timing belt" How do I know

Hi,
get the engine number plus vin number and go to a Chrysler dealership. They can put the info in a computer and give you the correct answer. The SOHC Chrysler 2.4 is a "free-wheeling" engine.

Your drivers handbook should also, (i believe) have that information.

Good luck.

1996 Plymouth Neon 2.0 installed new timeing belt and now car is only running on two cylinders, in cylinder two a missfire was detected and random multiple cylinder missfire

You have the timing belt off. If the engine computer sees the Crank sensor and the cam sensor don't line up, the engine computer will shut down two injectors. It sounds stupid, but trust me. I have seen this before.

How to replace a altenator belt on a 1995 plymouth neon

I had to put my 95 on ramps to make it easier to see. You have to loosen top adjustment nut, then in behind alternator is a bolt that goes through a plate that you have to turn clockwise, to tighten. I found it easier to see form under on ramps. You may have to loosen lower pivot bolt slightly too.
