1993GMC Jimmy instrament panels come on once in a while then they go out. Fuses are good. What do I need to check now. Plez, help...thank you.

I'd have to check voltage and ground for the instrument cluster when the problem is ongoing. Did you check for voltage at applicable fuse circuit, even if the fuse is good? If that checks out, suspect your instrument cluster is faulty. Also, check wiring connector for instrument cluster.
With intermittent problems, have to test when problem is ongoing.
I can only help with testing.

Instrument panel light is out

what light is it? check the oil and if you have door light indicatores on the instrament panel check that all doors and boot are shut properly, check that your battery is charging by letting the car idle high then take off a battery lead if engine stops then battery not charging, you may need someone to help rev engine for you

Instrament panel goes off and on.

This is a common issue with the Instrument panel in this truck, it is caused by a defective circuit board or a circuit board connection inside the cluster, what needs to be done is the IP pulled out and sent out to be rebuilt, the re-builders know exactly which parts cause this and are unwilling to divulge the information to the shop service techs, it is there secret and it makes them allot of money.

Interior Lights

I would look at the swithch dor it. Its built into the dimmer switch with the headlights. Sounds like it may b on....Also could be a door pin switch no grounding like it dosnt see the door closed. If you still want to pull the fuse it shoud be the one that says inst/curt thats instrument and courtesy. Just know that you will loose your instrament panel as well as a few other iems that are powered from that fuse.
