At acceleration has fluttering effect and no power

In April I changed the fuel filter, oil filter, spark pluggs, and also oil change. Not long after I did these change outs the vehicle doesn't run as smooth as is use too, with a slight acceleration it seems have a fluttering effect and no power. Does this have something to do with the fuel line or fuel pump or the carburator? And why do I sometimes smell odor of fuel within the cab and when I start it and let it sit in idel.

I agree with joe on the fuel leak. I would also check the spark plug wires to ensure they are pushed on all the way and are in the correct order because if they are wrong, that will cause a mis-fire which could be your 'fluttering'

As i read your description i assume that the fuel filter terminals are not thightend correctly any more, or that the new filter as not perfect sealed. see for remnants of fuel near the filter. if it is fuel wet there, then a leakage is the reason.

Other reasons are possible.

Why my 2002 kia rio stalles out everytime i step on the acceleration and keeps getting worse i changed spark pluggs and air filter and fuel filter please help me oh and everytime i go up hills i loss speed...

you need to check your fuel pressure at the rail with a gauge. But to me it sounds like the spark plug boots . If they crack or split it will cause symptoms just like yours, mostly shaking while under load. Since you already changed the plugs change the boots or wires too.

When do i change the oil in my 2008 yukon denali?

The question you are asking indicates you wanna know the ideal time to change the engine oil of your yukon.
The ideal time recommended by the manufacturer is after every 6months which is the time for the general servicing of the engine.
To achieve optimum perfomance of your car,it is recommended you carry out other actions, which includes the cleaning of the spark pluggs, oil filter and the fuel filter.

Thank you for using fixya.

Engine produces little power on acceleration and difficult to achieve over 60 kilometers per hour. Flutters a bit on accelerations

1st question - when was last tune up? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, all fluids & filters including fuel filter. I'd start there and run a good fuel system cleaner through it. Another thing to watch for that Pontiacs are notorious for is timing chain & gears going bad. Right about 70k-90k you're in the "dark zone" and they give little or no warning. You might consider changing them out also.

My 95 lumina shakes and misses while accelerating tried plugs, wires, oil chage, air filter, fuel filter, oil filter,1 coil pack,1 rear exhaust push rod and lifter

honestly, sounds like you should go to basics-check compression first, clean the throttle body , check fuel pump pressure at the rail on top of the engine-if you have any kind of check engine light, you need to get the code pulled, you have an OBDI system, so it is not as easy to diagnose-another basic is having good electrical power-battery and alternator in good condition.

My 2006 envoy denali recently started making a fluttering noise upon acceleration ? one guy told me it was a rod ? could this be? I have always changed the oil on time and with synthetic oil...last...

A rod problem is a steady knock which increases with rpm. More likely you have a plugged air filter , a plugged fuel filter or a vacuum leak, ( vote fuel filter , people never change those often enough)

1996 Mitsubishi Montero has no power..

My 96 Pajero SWB 3.0 would loose power as soon as i accelerate. It feels like the spark plugs are miss firing or if the engine was flooded.

I did a general service which included oil change, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs i checked my O2 sensor, dissembled and cleaned throttle body and sensors. Cleaned air intake sensor as well as the distributer etc.

Problem not solved, still loose power when i accelerate....can it be something wrong with my ECU??

My A/C control isnt working at all. Found a 15Amp fuse that was blown but when replaced it shorts again. Where can i get a wiring diagram of the heater/a/c system for my vehicle model?
