Just had the same issue.. im goignt o tel u what to check because they all might cause the problem.. bad spark plug.. fuel sensor.. fuel injectors.. timing belt.. or the fuel pump.. sound like your car is needing gas flow.. have a mechanic check it out. they shouldnt charge you crazy to check those things

Toyota camry jerk when AC is on ?

The AC system requires horsepower so it may cause a jerk if the following is present, the idle speed control system is fouled up with gunk and slow to respond to the load change. I suggest you clean the idle speed control valve and the throttle valve with spray throttle valve cleaner and see if that helps.

Extremely rough idle and car cuts off

run the fault codes first
indicates either injectors/low fuel pressure or crank/cam position sensor problem

I have an 88 ford festiva that when i go to take off from a stoped position the car stumbles and jerks. It is a 4 speed manual, also when i give it gas it cuts out breifly

Replace fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor should be checked for cracks or worn insides, roter inside also, if not already tried check fuel pressure and regulator or fuel pump going out if none above have your computer tested hope this helps

97 ECLIPSE JERKING AND POWER LOSS WHILE DRIVING

could be a number of things (throttle position sensor, crank position sensor, bad injector, faulty coil, bad plugs, etc) i would take it to a shop and have them scan it .If the scanner comes up with multiple problems and your forced to start "throwing parts " at it, remember most electrical parts cannot be returned once opened, so it could get expensive.shops sometimes have what i call "test pilots", properly working parts to put in to see if it corrects the problem through a process of elimination. this is one way a shop can actually save you money.

I have a toyota camry and my car jerks and when i turn the ac on it cuts off should i get new spark plugs and wires

The jerking can be caused by the A/C compressor cutting in & out causing a extra drag on the engine. This is usually caused by low freon presure.

My 93 Camry starts and drives fine, but when I stop and push on gas it stalls and acts like it wants to cut off, and my check engine light comes on.

your having a TPS (throttle position sensor) or ISC (idle speed control) sensor problem u need to have your car checked using an electronic scan tool to locate the faulty sensor to avoid costly replacement of unnecessary parts.

2003 Expedition jerking/cutting out.

Had same problem: cutting out at low rpm, jerking, a huge clunk or shudder at higher speed (like transmission was going out), and rough idle. All these symptoms were intermittent.

CHECK THE FUEL FILTER!! Changed the fuel filter and thing runs fine!!

PS mine 2003 expedition has 105k
