Question about 2000 Volkswagen Beetle
When my beetle sits for more than a couple of days without being driven the battery dies. we have a 2000 beetle, we are on our 3rd battery, we've had the car for 4 years. we now have even put a trickle charger on it, it has helped but now we are facing another replacement!!!! the battery just won't hold a charge!
I think you should take the car to a local parts house and have them to test the charging system . If the voltage regulator has stuck it could be pulling a constant draw on your battery also check at night to make sure that none of your lights are on sometimes the light switches can go bad and cause this to happen such as hood or trunk.Hope this has helped you out some!!
