Windshield Wipers Not working

This Morning I needed my wipers turned them on and now they won't work, everything else works on the control arm, such as the cruise and turn signals, but not the wipers and wiper fluid. Is the Motor out? I read the manual and it said that the fuses are set to automatically stop before blowing out. Any help?

The item has gotten worse, The power windows don't work and neither does the sun roof. They can get them to work by jumping the circut but that's the only way!

This is no easy trouble shoot! GM put a few thing on there that could cause a problem . First there is a pulse bourd on the wiper motor that could go bad . second it could be that that part of the switch has went bad , check the fuses . Hope this can be of some help to you !!

How do you reset the windshield wipers to the start position on a 97 camero? The stop In the middle off the window when turned off.

Pull off the wiper arms when the motor has turned off and the wipers at rest. Realign the arms in the position desired and do a test with a mist of water on the glass. The gear alignment is critical to the way the arm rests when in operation and when at rest.

My windshield wipers wont work.

It Sounds Like, Either The Arms Are Loose ,If You Can Hear Something Moving Behind The Dash,
Or The Linkages Are Seized ,If The Motor Just Hums No Movement Heard,In Which Case Try Spraying Q 20 On The Linkage And Try Moving The Wiper Arms By Hand To Get It Going Again,
If Not The Motor May Just Be Burn;t Out.

Turn on windshield wipers but they won't turn off

The WS wipers in this truck are controlled by a central module that is called the GEM, this module can be scanned to find the fault wirththe wipers, it could be the GEM that is defective or the wiper motor is defective. It also controls the WS washers do they work?

My windshield wipers quit. They gave no indication of going. On morning I turned them on to wipe the fresh snow away. They started, went about 1/3 of windshield and quit. They went back down and I can't...

The wiper linkage is either broken, or has become un-attached...You will need to remove the wiper arms and plastic shroud above the linkage to inspect...When re-assembling be sure to have the wipers turned off, and in the down position...when mounting the arms back onto the spindles...Hope this helps.

How do I change wiper blades 2001 Chevy blazer

Open the cap at the end of the windshield wiper arm at the cowl of the Blazer. This will reveal the bolt that secures the wiper arm to the wiper linkage.
Unbolt the wiper arm using a 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. Place the bolt to the side, as you will reuse it later.
Pull the wiper arm up at the blade so that the blade of the wiper is pointing into the air. Then pull at the base of the arm, wiggling it slightly. It's a keyed gear, so it may take a little bit of workunderlined.png?1 to break it free, but with the right amount of wiggling, it will disengage.

    Windshield wipers not parking

The problem could be a bent parking pall bracket. This is usually caused when you wipe snow from windshield using the wipers instead of brushing off. You need to remove both wipers and the cover from the drivers side. Remove the cover over the wiper motor assembly (held by a plastic button). On the right side of the wiper mechanism is a small tab (part of the wiper bracket). This tab needs to be straight for the wiper park pall to rest against.Carefully hammer this tab straight (or you may have to replace bracket, big job) Then cycle the wiper and you will see the assembly return to park position. Re-install all parts in reverse order.
    Hope this works for you.

99 Yukon windshield wipers sometimes won t turn on and other time stop after working

We had the same problem and sometimes they wouldn't turn off. The intermittent wipers were random. We replaced the wiper motor. Be sure to get the motor with two balls on the wiper shaft (one for each wiper arm). If you can't find it, you'll have to change the part out on the new motor. Keep the wiper arms in the same location on removal, or it will jam and you'll have to start over.
