How can I fix evaporated canister on 2003 range rover

Most canister faults are caused by over filling the fuel tank, then parking in the sun, the fuel expands and floods the canister, replace it.

What causes power loss in engine and transmission and a loud thumping somewhere under hood

This could be serious First look & listen to the engine with the hood up to find anything loose like the fan, serpentine belt etc. Also get under the vehicle and look at the universal joints. Unfortunately, from your description, it sounds more like the auto or transfer case. With luck, it may just be the linkage but get it checked before something really serious occurs. Having trouble bleeding cooling system on 2006 Range Rover. No heat and fan is blowing

The easy way need to be done:
-Make sure the is not presure in the cooling system before do thisor release carefully.
-Disconnect the upper hose from the radiator and fill water (coolant)
through the hose to the engine. If water can't get in beacuse the thermostat is closed. Simply remove it and fill untill full.

Leaking coolant not overheating 2003

You are not filling it above the "full" mark, right ?
It has to have some space in the tank to allow hot coolant to expand.

2003 Range rover won't start

Very likely the fuel pump has failed, if you mean you tapped on the gas tank
and it finally started. When a pump fails, sometimes rapping on the tank will re-energize it briefly or maybe even a couple of times before it gives out for good.
If you were tapping on the gas pedal, though, and it just started, your mechanic will have to look at it. Too many electrical fault possibilities, Scott, it needs proper diagnosis to find the p[roblem.

Check engine coolant came on computer when I turned car on, not sure where it is... also which brand coolant, type I should get... I can;t find the manual

You can check the coolant under the hood, located on the drivers side, front corner. The manual says to fill with blue anti-freeze, but was informed at Autozone that most new coolants will mix with any color. I've used Peak 50/50 in my 03 Rover which mixes with any color.
