As far as I know there is no code on a Nissan factory radio. Check the fuses for the radio.

Call 1800-537-5140 when recording starts press 106010*xxxyyy* and it will give you your code

The only way is to get the code from a dealer. Call your local GM dealer and they will walk you through it.

SOURCE: my 2005 chevy cobalt factory radio is locked

There are only 2 things you can try to fix this yourself: turn off the engine and open the driver side door (to turn the radio off). Wait 5 minutes, start your car.
If that does not solve it, turn off your engine, disconnect the car battery, wait about 5 minutes. Reconnect the battery (negative pole first - black connector) and try your radio again.

If neither one of these two fix your problem, I am afraid only a GM service center or dealership can fix the problem. The Cobalt is notorious for all kinds of electrical issues.

Thanks for using the fixya forums!

Radio on a 2002 gmc enoy says locked

If you just replaced the battery or something, the stock radio has an anti theft device that makes the radio ''Lock'' when the power is disconnected. the only thing you can do is take it to the dealer and hope they have your unlock code.
You may find a reset procedure but I doubt it... good luck!

Can i get code for my radio is lock2005 gmc envoy

You will need to get the code from the dealer. Bring them your registration (to prove you own the truck and it's radio) and they can look the code up by your vin#

Locked radio

You will need to contact your local dealer with the Vin number of your truck & possibly the make of your radio. When a radio locks the dealer has the code to unlock the radio, just give them a call & you should have your radio working in no time.

Have a 2004 Chevrolet 1500 pickup that the CD player went out on. Replaced it was wondering what is involved in retrieving the unlock code. It currently says "Locked" on the radio face.

The dealer will need to get the code to unlock the radio. How it works is they retrieve a code from the radio, thenthe code is called in to get another code to unlock the radio.

They will charge you for this. It usually takes about a half an hour.
