The new battery maybe defective, the battery holder maybe loose or broken, the rubber between the 2 halves of the remote maybe not inserted properly or has defect, may need re-programming, may have damaged circuit board. battery is affected by the cold and can weaken it. There is possibility of electrical trouble(s) with the car itself, but commonly it is the remote that has the problem(s).

SOURCE: I have a 98 accord the alarm remote will not do

As with most vehicle theft systems they have a life expectancy and the control unit may not be working correctly but try hooking the ground to a better stripped location. I usually find an area on the frame and sand off the paint then use a self tapping screw and reground it then try it if not purchase another aftermarket system and have it installed professionally most aftermarket systems are better anyways and last longer plus they come with warranty. Heres a good site to buy one at wholesale.

2010 Toyota Venza. Fuel pump relay location.

Question edited for clarity and the right version of 'witch' (lady in a pointed hat with a broomstick) and 'which'. :>D
Question moved to model category.

That is a bargain, despite it not working!

If you put a new fuel pump in, you disconnect the battery. After that you have to reset the security system and more importantly, the engine immobilizer.

There are very few reasons to ever change the ECM (main computer), and if you do it needs to be programmed to that vehicle with VIN Number and Mileage. After that you have to reset the security system and more importantly, the engine immobilizer. Are you seeing a theme here :>)

There is a relay called 'Ignition'. R5.

This says it has a Fuel Pump Driver Module, but I wouldn't be rushing out and buying one on a GUESS!

  2. Repeat step 2 five times.

2013 Toyota Venza. Non powered rear hatch will not open. Push button and nothing happens but a click somewhere near knees of driver seat. I checked fuse and it's good.

In the Owner's Manual on page 56 it discusses the Back Door. Review that for info. What button are you pushing - inside the car or the remote keyless fob? Does it UNLOCK w/the keyless fob?

My Venza 2013 back door won't open. There's a beep from back opener when I pressed the remote.

Visit the on-line store, know as reliable-store, they have the repair manuals. I'm sure you will get the solution of your problem.

My Toyota 200 VX V8 has a dead battery and I can not gain access to open the hood and replace teh battery what should I do?

You need to access the hood release at the release mechanism in the centre of the bonet. With any luck with that model hopfully you can access it with a long screwdriver through the grill or reaching up from under the car behind the bumper.
