Here is a site with some pictures and instructions on how to fix your odometer.

http://www.homestead.com/volvo2/Odometer.html

If you've never pulled the instrument cluster or need to repair the gear on one of the later electric driven models, this site has easy to follow instructions with great pictures.

http://www.hyperocity.com/volvo240/volvoodometer.htm

I had to replace a gear about a year ago. You can buy the gear from Jeff Caplan at Odometer Gears LTD and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Just call him us and he'll send you the right gear and even give support over the phone if you need it.

http://www.odometergears.com/subpages/cable.html

I bought two gears from Jeff. He shipped same day, was very friendly, and was willing to help. It turned out I only needed one of the gears and he happily refunded my money for the gear I didn't need. I like to support small companies with great service like this.

    Yellow engine light

Yellow engine light on the dash board of Toyota Camry is the indication of low oil in car.----------- Get the oil checked and refilled.Driving the car with low oil is not advisable.------------- There is a reset procedure to stop this yellow light on dash.In some cases this helps ,but in some cases the oil needs to be refilled to stop this yellow light.------------- I will mention the reset procedure as follows:-- Turn on the ignition switch, set the mileometer reading to miles not trip meter, turn off the ignition fully, press the button to reset the trip meter and keep it pressed down as you turn on the ignition key to key on engine off, keep it pressed down for about 15 seconds and then the light will be reset. -------------- Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

How to reset service message on volvo s80?

    2002-2007 All Volvo Models
    • The service reminder indicator lamp illuminates for 120 seconds when the ignition is first switched on
    • Insert key and turn Ignition Switch to position I
    • Press and hold in the reset button for the trip odometer
    • Turn the Ignition switch to position II (within 2 seconds)
    • Hold the reset button for the trip meter pressed in until the original trip counter value blinks and is redisplayed
(For all vehicles 2003- a general yellow lamp will light when the reset button must be released.)
    • Release the reset button for the trip odometer within 4 seconds. The instrument gives an audible signal when resetting has succeeded
    • If the trip meter is already reset the reset button should be held in for a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 14 seconds.
    • If the reset button for the trip odometer is not released within 4 seconds, the service reminder indicator (SRI) is not reset.
