Engine not getting gas.

Engine won't start suddenly. And it sounds different when I try to start it, like somethings missing.

I'm not a mechanic but from experience I suggest that before you start with repairs, start with the fuel. You may have either picked up some dirty gas when last filled up or just stirred something up in the tank. Try a fuel cleaner from any auto parts store. Also, and this is probably not realated, the check engine light may come on if your gas cap is not tight. Good Luck

Your flywheel may have broke or the crank could have broke. If the crank broke the engine is done. Try to turn the engine over by hand. You can put a socket on the crank pully bolt and try to turn it.make sure the key is off and out of the ignition. Sorry for your loss.

My car has been sitting for 2 years and won't start. The engine turns over but it sounds like not getting gas. I read somewhere to spray gas starting inside air intake valve. Where is the air intake v

Safer is to use 'carburetor cleaner' which is also flammable but a little less dangerous than using gasoline. After sitting a long time, our modern gasoline gets tired; never allow something to sit so long without adding some 'fuel stabilizer.'If possible with your car, I would drain (siphon) the tired gas out and replace it with a few gallons of fresh.
Really tough starting problems can also be overcome with 'starting fluid' which is pure ether and very flammable.Any of these may require the removal of the engine air filter so the liquid gets into the intake manifold.
Stale gasoline can also gum up the fuel injectors which may have to be removed for service if none of the fluids causes the engine to fire.

While driving home from work my wife said that our 1993 voyager suddenly made a kind of whooshing sound and then the van lost power. I tried to restart and it would crank but not start. And I notice that...

Sounds very much like your timing belt has gone away. To verify without actually removing the cover, you can check compression...if very low on all cylinders you can bet it has failed. also you can check to see if rotor in distributor is turning while cranking. Generally I do not recommend cranking with broken belt, but, you have done that already so any further damage from that (possible bent valves) has already happened.
