1994 lincoln town car cranks but wont start

About 70,000 miles on it runs great everything is fine. kinda dusty under the hood nothing too bad. it cranks but wont start untill the next day. happened to me twice since this march. could it be the battery? when i pull up or down the window the lights on the radio dim a little. i took it to the car shop and they said the fuel injection was fine and also checked the alternator.

If the alternator is not charging the fuel pump wont run either. This is a safety feature so in case there is an accident the fuel pump wont run. Fix the alternator and you'll be good to go.

Lincoln 2000 town car was seated for a year was running fine now will crank over but wont start acts like no fuel but fuel pump is working

You need to Change your Fuel Filter its under the car on the passanger side, it has easy disconnects on it, get a new one, lift it up, make sure you put stops around all wheels, because it could fall if it goes forward. The filter is 8 dollars at advanced, then it should fire right, up. No its not a catalitic converter, That car will be solid in the engine department untill at least 230,000 miles. Text me if you need more assistance, i owned all the models multiple i know everything about all models to 1985 to 2000 my number is 860 8493139 Peter

look under the hood on the firewall where the shift linkage comes through, the most likely cause is the rod popped off and needs to be re attached

Car wont start 94 lincoln town car

an engine needs three things to start andrun; fuel, spark, and compression. The non-starting may or may not be related to the previous oil situation. The oil light came on because it lost oil pressure. If it lost oil pressure and it's a well worn engine to start with, it might not have enough compression at the rings to start. If it doesn't have enough to start, it'd barely run if you somehow did get it started. It may not start because of some totally unrelated problem like fuel or spark. The only way to find out is to have a technician troubleshoot it. Good luck.
