Question about 1997 Honda Civic
My Honda Civic (1997 Model - Australia) done 106000 km recently. Is it necessary to change timing belt now. And what is the life span of timing belt. In addition do I need to change the automatic gear box oil or what should I do? Thank you.
If it is a timing belt and not a chain, the book suggest 4-7 years. If the belt does not look worn or cracked, than I wouldn't worry about it. If it looks like it needs to be changed soon, than it is probably that time to be changed
The transmisson fluid and filter should be changed ever 2 years.
