Question about 2000 GMC Sierra
Check engine came on. My code reader says code #s 740, 785, and 1860. The first two are generic and the third is TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit. The tow/haul light will not work when I push the button. Everything else seems to be doing fine. I am an old school mechanic and have rebuilt many older GM transmissions, but I am lost on the newer stuff. I need to try to save some money and would like to do this repair myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David
Replace the solenoid pack, or the wiring to the trans has problems. Usaully the solenoid pack in our Chrysler trans, but every once in a while, it is bad wiring.
