Question about 1998 Dodge Neon
I had my car stall on me while driving through a parking lot. I could start it up and it would run for about 10 seconds and then it stalls. It does that consistently. When I try to drive it in those ten seconds it dies automatically. I ran my pcm trouble codes and only came back with a #12, which is Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles. That shouldn't keep it from running. I think that it might be a fuel pump relay, cause the engine is obviously getting primed, but it doesn't seem like the fuel pump picks up from there. The problem is, the book doesn't tell me ****. No troubleshooting section, and only one paragraph on what realys are, not what they do or where they are located. Can you help me by providing me with more info or opinions?
Change the fuel regulator , it is on engine before the injectors.
