Depends on what your extended warranty covers. Check with those folks or call the nearest Hyundai Service Center and ask one of their service manager/writers if they know.

Will be purchasing a new 2015 Elantra. Should I purchase an extended warranty?

I would ask hard questions on this one I paid almost a thousand dollars for an extended warranty on a used car and six weeks later I had to tow the car in. I showed them the warranty paper work and they answered oops it does not cover the computer and parts. It was running parts only like engine and tranny.

No problem, but trying to decide if extended warranty is needed on the Cayenne s - 2006? 4K for three extra years?

as with all warranties, check the small print I.E.,does it cover oil leaks, that need the engine to come out to fix.......i doubt it, so its not worth having,BUT if the engine/gearbox do have a problem it could cost as much as you paid for the car to fix it..........a new engine is £8500 just for a short motor ..i would buy it...

The paint on my 2004 mitsubishi galant is "chalking" what can i do to get it fixed? If i contact mitsubishi will they help me?

There are old websites devoted to the subject. If you are out of warranty you are probably out of luck. The only good fix is to wet sand the clear coat off and repaint the car. Painting over the bad clear coat will only ruin any paint or clear coat you spray over it.

How often oiol change on 2004 avalon

If you have an extended warranty that requires a certain schedule, follow that. Otherwise, per the testing that Consumer Reports did a few years ago, six months/6000 miles is fine. Shops want you to come in at three months/3000 miles, but based on long-term (60000 miles) wear testing that they did on multiple cars (NYC cabs), there was no difference in wear between 3000 mile and 6000 mile intervals.

2004 hyundai elantra oxygen sensor

Your Elantra has more than one oxygen sensor. There is a pre-catalyst sensor and a post-catalyst sensor. Both can be found on the exhaust. You simply disconnect the sensor wire and remove the sensor plug with the proper size deep socket. Be sure you have the correct sensor for replacement.

Because of the heat involved with the exhaust, make sure the engine is cool before attempting to remove and replace the sensors. They may be tough to remove so a shot of WD-40 or 5-56 spray may need to soak into the threads to ease removal. When you replace the new sensors, a coating of anti-seize will be helpful for future removal.

Keep in mind that one malfunctioning sensor can send information that will set off codes on other sensors "downstream" or send codes from other emission controls on the engine.

Grille has been peeling for a year now and no one as any suggestions other than just replacing it! WIth the same thing!! For the same problem to happen again???? Is there any way to get Nissan to help with...

Not much you can do for peeling chrome from a grill. (I assume it is plastic). If it is metal you can check with a chrome shop toi see what they'd charge you to rechrome it. Another option is to check with after-market auto accessories places and see if they don't have an after market grill for your vehicle. Replacement is about all you can do. I would be very suprised if any extended warranties would cover peeling chrome. I think you are stuck with this one. You can consider having it painted. Cheapest replacement would be from your local junkyard or carparts.com ( on-line listing of junkyards) but you may just be buying someone else's problem. It oculd be much worse. There ahev been cars that litterally shed their paints clear coat and the owners were just out of luck. As far as why the dealer tried to get you to pay for the repair, that's easy; money. He would probably be able to charge you more for the repair than the extended warranty would pay.

2004 blue endeavor paint problem

This is a common problem with base coat clear coat paint, you may want to take it to the dealer and see if they will do something about it. GM and ford both had a problem with the clear coat fading and actually peeling away. If enough people complain they may do something about it. It has to basically be sanded down and repainted and clear coated again. The only sure way to keep this from happening is using a car cover when it’s in the sun. And blue is one of the worst I have seen for failure. But again it’s worth a shot to go to the dealer and see if there is a recall on the paint. The squeaky wheel gets greased
