Question about 1999 Cadillac DeVille
Bulbs look ok, fuses in trunk look ok and fuses in engine compartment owner access look ok. Same thing for me. No turn signals flashing, but the side light (white) comes on in the front to illuminate the curve. Hazard lights flash ok so I assume that the bulbs and the relay are fine. Must be the turn signal switch. I asked GM for part # and it's this : 19005028. I assume I must take down the whole assembly (the one that includes the cruise control switch, wiper blades switch, etc.) and dismount it until I get to the turn signal switch. Haven't done it yet.
The problem is a bad flasher. $10.98 at advance auto. remove panels under steering wheel with 9/32 socket. It is hard to see turn blinker on to confirm it should tick each time. should take about 1/2 hour.
