P 0110 CODE - 1996 Ford Probe

code p 0300 is random misfire-check the fuel pressure and run a injector cleaner fluid through the system
code p 0301 is misfire on no 1 cylinder and again indicates an injector
it could be coil or wires or plugs but generally injector problems
code p 0110 refers to intake air temperature(AT) sensor ---circuit malfunction===causes --wiring---IAT sensor---ECM

ok Tom, I couldn't find the p6170 code, you think you can double check and see if that one might be incorrect.
The other codes, standout as a tune up and maintenance repair to me. I would remove your throttle position sensor and clean with carburetor cleaner and a brush or cloth, the misfires maybe that the throttle body and intake have a lot of carbon buildup and making the sensor malfunction and send a message to the computer that tries to compensate and effects the idle, but it could need spark plugs and or wires too.. best to pull a plug or too if you don't know their condition and look them over. the mass air flow sensor, you cant clean you just have to replace it...and the intake air temp malfunction I believe it is dirty from fuel deposit buildup. I would suggest buying some fuel injection cleaner, if like brands Lucas, and Seafome can be found at most parts stores, you just pour in gas tank and it cleans the internal parts where the fuel travels, but can take a few tanks of fuel to obtain proper results.

Your shifter is faulty, need a new one.. most likely you spilled something on it.

Clearing the codes is simple that is done by removing the fuse of the EFI from junction box 2 for 10 seconds. Make sure to remove the jumper wire and switch the key off before clearing the codes.

I would guess with all this You may Have a Connection Problem or a Computer Issue Get the codes reset and monitor as soon as check engine light comes on to see what codes com up first and what codes are pending

Ok..for starters have you checked to make sure your getting fire to the plugs? Need to pull a plug wire off and check to make sure. If your getting fire then your problem lies in the fuel delivery system...if not then it would be in the ignition system...have you checked ALL of your fuses? Make sure that your fuel filter isn't plugged, and on the fuel rail you'll find a small port with schrader valve (similar to that on the tire)..you can turn the key to the run position and then push in on valve to see if your getting fuel to the rail..once you narrow it down to fuel delivery or ignition problems we can further narrow it down.

you are incorrect on your code read. u0155 is lost comm with IPC, u110c is no fuel read, u0140 lost comm with BCM and can all be fixed with a new BCM.

The Air Temperature Sensor is built into the Mass Air Flow Meter. It is located on the air intake tube, between the air filter box and the metal intake manifold, held on with 2 screws.

The Coolant Temp Sensor is located on the back side of the engine (closest to the firewall), closer to the driver side of the engine. It is close below the Csm Position Sensor, that is located on the cylinder head.

If you had problems with either, the DTC would be P-0115 for the CTS and P-0110 for the ATS.
Note that the ATS cannot be serviced alone, you would need to replace the MAF assembly.
