Where is the control switch located ?

  • Jonah Oneal Apr 14, 2011

control switch is the control knob switch where you turn on and off your ac and heater. switch controls fan speed also. meant to tell you remove blower motor. hot wire it. if blower motor works problem is in the fan control switch. if blower motor dont work when hot wired.the blower motor need replacing.if blower motor dont work your ac and heater wont work.

2007 Dodge Caliber. The AC is not working so I replaced the fans cause they were not working. Fans still don't work. AC still doesn't work. Fuse is good. What next?

take it in to an accredited ac specialist shop to check for gas leaks
the fan may not work until the compressor starts and if there is no gas or excessive gas the compressor is prevented from running
this is on the assumption that you are talking about the fan in front of the condenser and not the heater fans in the cabin which are a completely different issue

THIS IS TO ALL THE FORD EXPERTS AND LINCOLN MASTERS OUT THERE I LOST POWER TO MY AC COMPRESSOR CAN ANY TELL ME HOW TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW TO FIX IT ??

there is a high pressure switch in the ac system that cuts power to the compressor when a high pressure situation is recorded
it is there to prevent compressor damage from when the gas is converting to liquid in the compressor
That occurs because the condenser fan is not operating to remove heat from the condenser
so check that the condenser fan ( in front of the condenser ) is working and check that the system is not over full with gas

Silverado heater controls don't work

Without the year of the truck, I can't say much for advice.
I would get a wiring diagram to find out where the power for the control comes from.
On a 1995 model truck there are 5 fuses and several relays involved in the HVAC system.

On my nissan murano one of the radiator fan dosen't work passanger side

I'm not sure if the Murano is this way, but several vehicles have staggered fans. One fan works when the temp gets to a certain level, then if the temp goes up more, the other fan kicks on.

Try running the A/C and see if both fans operate, and give it some time to allow the temperature to climb. Don't let it get past 3/4 on the temp gauge though, if you are experiencing overheating.

Heater fan don't work, don't know which fuse operates heater fan

Hi!!
Look in engine compartment close to battery for fuse box, remove cover and inside cover there is a diagram of fuse/relay locations.
You are looking for a fuse and relay, it should say blower fan or AC blower fan. First check fuse, if Fuse is ok. check Relay.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!
