Question about 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche
My 2004 chevrolet avalanche's cd player has a cd stuck in it. How do I get it out? i have a 2004 chevy avalanche and my 6 dissc cd changer just does alot of clicking when you first start up the truck. It will not accept any cds or discharge any. i want to remove the stero but am unsure how to unhook the cables in the back. Can someone please help me?

Bad news. Your CD player isn't any good. I work for Chevrolet and this is a very common problem. The magazine inside the radio (the part that holds the cd's) starts going crooked. I think some real tiny springs that hold it break, causing this problem. Only fix is to replace the radio. First try this. Go to the fuse box under the hood and remove the 'Radio' fuse for 1 minute. This may reset the radio. You may be able to eject any cd's stuck in the radio. May be cheaper to put in an after-market radio. Sorry.
