I hope you arent letting a simple thing like a burnt bulb ruin your day??Im not sure what you have checked so far but start with replacing the bulb, check the connector very good as this has been an issue on many makes and models

Sounds like a short in the wiring or fuse panel. As new as it is, I would suggest a mechanic as troubleshooting wiring in newer cars is not only difficult, but also dangerous. Many a shade-tree mechanic has set off the airbags that way!

I think the problem may be from a couple of areas. Check the fuse box that controls the light in the engine. It may be a bridge or contact problem. You could check the integrity of the light switch for any fault.

The turn signals flash depends on each and every bulb working correctly. When one bulb fails, you will notice a change in the flash frequency, as you describe.
Replace or repair the bulb that is not working, and you should be good to go.

SOURCE: 2006 Chevrolet Uplander Parking Lights Stay On
My 2006 Uplander would not shut off the parking lights. I came here for a solution. I saw the answer here, actually the question, and I used the key fob to lock the vehicle. The lights went off. That was a temporary solve. Now, is this a "glitch" or a "feature"?
