Question about 1998 Ford Explorer
My husband lost the key to his '98 Explorer, we can get a key for it, but we need the code to program it. We called a dealership, they said that Ford erases their codes after 10 years. There has to a way to find the code, can someone help figure out where?
When i went to the dealer they replaced the pcm and had my codes' i also had to have them make another key. and they had the codes they should be able to get it idk why they wouldnt...

I am sorry you can no longer access the code unless the dealer who sold it still has the original paperwork, sorry about that.
