Question about 2006 Chrysler 300
My 300 is hard to start when the engine is cold. It is a 2006 with less than 40,000 miles on it. I have had it into the dealer twice and they say everything is OK. I think it is the fuel filter or EGR...it seems the car is too new for it to need new plugs...thoughts??
1st let me say if u had an EGR problem the check engine light would be on, and the EGR does not cause a hard start, a plugged fuel filter would cause u to loose power, so that is not it either, what you most likely have going on is a failed pressure valve in the fuel pump, this lets the fuel drain back to the tank and then you must pressurize the system and refill the lines before it will start, to correct this u must replace the fuel pump.
