Question about 2006 Chrysler 300

Car is hard to start when engine is cold

My 300 is hard to start when the engine is cold. It is a 2006 with less than 40,000 miles on it. I have had it into the dealer twice and they say everything is OK. I think it is the fuel filter or EGR...it seems the car is too new for it to need new plugs...thoughts??

1st let me say if u had an EGR problem the check engine light would be on, and the EGR does not cause a hard start, a plugged fuel filter would cause u to loose power, so that is not it either, what you most likely have going on is a failed pressure valve in the fuel pump, this lets the fuel drain back to the tank and then you must pressurize the system and refill the lines before it will start, to correct this u must replace the fuel pump.

You should get 350 per full tank, and the smell of raw gas,you have a leak,Dont rely on the check engine light if you nose can detect it then your right,You will need to cycle the key but dont start the engine some how the fuel pump has to be turned on with the engine cold and you will be able to see the fuel leak, with the engine warm up a fuel leak will just evaporate too quicly for it to be noticed, the dealer obviously doesnt want to fiqure it out.

2000 pontiac sunfire 5 speed manual transmission with 40,000 miles on the clutch started slipping what's going on with it

a clutch can wear out in a couple hundred miles if not driven properly or abused-at 40,000 miles it is highly possible that the clutch disk is worn to the point that it needs to be replaced. You might be able to get away with driving it but avoid driving it is such a way that it slips-if you can hear the engine running 'ahead' of the car (revving faster than you are moving) get off the gas-especially in higher gears. If you do this until you can get the clutch replaced, you should be able to nurse it along for months.

no it should not burn oil...specially for a new car like that...the older the car gets...the more oil it burns...but you need to check the head cover gasket...

Having the rear brakes done twice at 40,000 miles is ridiculous! something is definitly wrong. Could be a sticky park brake cable and may not necessarily be related to the noise you hear. The noise could also be a stone caught in the front brakes. Hope this helps!

You must scan the Engine Control Module and collect fault codes before it can be determined why your engine controller turned the light on.

Instrument Cluster Panel out on 2001 buick century

2001 Century just hit 40,000 miles and the engine light has come on. Im wondering if this is an automatic when the car trips at 40K- for a check up or whatever GM wants your money for.

ps - from '89 to 2008 I had been driving Nissans, Toyotas and Hondas - Im driving this car only because I gave my Toyata Rav4 to my daughter and got this Buick from my elderly mother as she no longer drives. Its is amazing what a piece of **** this car is compared to what Im use to. At 40,000 miles you start having the engine light come on - amazing!

Chrysler 300 3.5 v6 Slight engine knock - oil always changed

I have a 2006 with a 3.5 (41,000 miles). No oil consumption but had the knock. Started as a slight knock and continued to get louder. My buddy works at the dealer and hooked me up. Chrysler knows about this problem, it's the rocker arm assembly coming apart. They have a new revised part to fix the problem. THEY NEED TO RECAL THIS.
