Question about Mazda B2300
It's a 1995 Mazda B2300 2WD 2.3 liter 4 cyl pickup. I got the filter the correct direction but it still will not start. I am thinking about purchasing a bottle of that start spray they sell that you add to your air filter hose when the vehicle is being started. Maybe that would give it some umph it needs to **** the gasoline up the fuel line and into the engine. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading.
I would avoid useing starting fluid...it will serve no purpose other than causeing engine damge and a possible fire.....Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the ignition on? Look on top of your fuel pressure regulator, there should be a purge valve, (kinda looks like a valve stem) with a small screw driver press the stem in to bleed any air out and to see if you have fuel pressure..Be careful, wear safety glasses, don't get gasoline in your eyes. Turn the key on and repeat if needed. If you don't have any fuel pressure... check the fuel pump shut off switch. On B-series models, the switch is located on the passenger's side of the transmission hump, under the carpet.
Good luck...i hope this helps.
