Question about 2006 Ford Explorer

ABS light comes on and off

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer and the ABS light and Trac Control light will come on after a while of the truck being in drive. The light will then proceed to go off for a few blocks then randomly come back on? I find that when I'm coming to a complete stop the truck feels like it almost chugs or there is a slipping. Not sure what this is or if it's related? Help. Thank you, Ashley

Why does the ABS and 4x4 lights come on and ABS tries to stop car without brake petel being depressed?

Working on any vehicle is not
guessing game,or ask & tell

You have the lights on your dash
You know what system they represent
Thus you know what system has a possible fault
You should have come here with codes or google them

Like all vehicle issues, you get the codes, learn the system,
component test, just to find a problem

Wouldn't be using it until repaired

What is the meaning of the abs light /trac control /and the wrench symbols light on at the same time on a 2006 ford exploror

for me it led to wheel bearing failure. I guess the abs sensor is in the wheel bearing housing.

The first thing to do is to have the ABS and engine computers scanned for trouble codes.
The problem with the check engine light could also turn on the ABS and traction control lights. Or it could be different issues.
The gas gauge being out of calibration could be the float in the gas tank or the gauge on the dash. I doubt that problem is related to the warning lights.

Not able to reset oil change light 2006 ford explorer eddie bauer

Try disconnecting the battery for five minutes to reset the computer. You might want to write down your radio station settings. Some radios retain memory and some don't.

What does it mean when the abs light comes on

The abs pump or or circuit is faulty. I recommend a dealership. Even for me as a mechanic for 8 years, still refer customers to dealership, which isn't something we like to do. Dealerships are better qualified when it comes to traction control and abs units.

I can not eject a dvd from my player 2006 eddie bauer ford explorer?

If you still have a warranty left on your explorer you can go to any ford dealer and they will remove the player and send it for repair. If the unit can not be repaired they will send a new one and remove you DVD for you and mail it back
