Question about 1995 Chevrolet Blazer

2 Answers

Fuel Issue? I have a 1995 S-10 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 Liter Vortec. I have changed plugs, belt, cap and rotor and plug wires. I am noticing a varying idle sometimes high sometimes truck will hardly idle. I havent changed the fuel filter, where is that located? Is there a stock filter that I can replace? Any other ideas?

I would change the filter and replace it with a high performance one. You can google the make and model for an online manual.

1999 chevy blazer not starting

Check the plug wire from the ignition coil to the distributor cap.
If you haven't already, replace the distributor cap and rotor.
The GM Vortec's have issues with moisture getting inside the cap and rotor and causing problems.

93' S10 2.5 Liter, My brother in law owns this truck and said he has had the distributor replaced, new coil, plug wires, had the fuel pump checked, and still it won't start. He said it's just Turning over...

it sure could be a timing issue...
Take the distributor cap off and then crank it over and see if the rotor is turning...
My thought is that the instaler of the distributor could have misalligned the timing when replacing the distrib.

Starts Occasionaly but not all the time

Check the primary and secondary resistance on your coil, also check the resistance of the plug wires and verify the spark plug gap.
