Question about 1989 Nissan 240SX
Have replaced the head gasket. Along with that the plugs, wires, thermostat and pcv. Distributor was 5 degrees to advanced and was fixed. Also running 10w30 since its a 89 240sx with 101k on a ka24e. Running out of options to try.i've tried Stop smoke and Lucas. ICV still does need to be replaced. But every time i drive i dont even rev it past 4rpms smokes decently bad whitish smoke.
Providing the head gasket was done properly, and the head was checked for cracks, it's probably a cracked block. Not what you want to hear. Did you have the head checked when you had it off? Do you have to add antifreeze often? Remove the rad cap, and let it run. If bubbles keep surfacing up to the filler hole, you have a crack, or your head gasket is still no good.
