SOURCE: 2001 Boxster Alarm Beeps Twice

If the car beeps twice when you unlock the doors, it means there is a fault in the car alarm system. Usually when this happens the red LED lights on the "door lock" button on the top r h side of the dash. Also on mine, when you try to open the passenger door the window does not drop the small amount as usual, but that may be part of my alarm problem.

SOURCE: 1999 Boxster won't start sometimes

Yes. It may have a weak magnet on it. Otherwise it would be the ignition or control module. Try replacing key first.

SOURCE: Blue smoke sometimes when I start my 2004 Boxster

Te blue smoke is oil getting into the piston/fire chamber..

If it is only at start-up - it is more than likely the valve seals.. Allot of the time they use plastic ones so therefor it is somewhat common for cars to do this..
If it is not to bad and stops soon after start-up,, its not really a big deal..

IF it is allot - and smokes all the time - it could be that the valve seals need to be replaced OR could be the piston rimgs are shot..

Please dont forget to rate well ;o)

SOURCE: 02 Boxster headlights wont turn on

the light fault sound like the switch itself, the clicking heard will be the relay once a good connection is made at the switch. If the engine management light has come on it will have an emmisions related fault and will need further attention, this is not related to the service schedule

Ignition locking on by 2001 Porsche Boxster S

It is known for ignition switches to fail. Sometimes they won't turn, other times they leave the starter engaged and sometimes the radio, A/C or wipers won't work. You may crank the car to start sometimes and the key does not spring back from crank to run. Check this first. Good luck....
