Question about 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix
I have a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 3.1 V6 and the car has begun to back fire into the intake manifold. I think the timming is out but can't find any reference material to find how to adjust it. It has a DIS ign. system and I'm am lost at this point. How can I fix this problem before I send the car off for parts?

Egr system not functioning properly, vacuum leak, damaged valve springs or sticking valves, intake air (vacuum) leak.
