Replaced all 4 sensors and still getting codes PO136 and PO141

I assume that you performed a Clear Codes after doing this to reset the check engine light and then retested......otherwise the codes will remain until you do so.

Trouble code p0402 is coming up on the scan tool, what is the problem?

On a domestic car using a scan tool, the trouble code p0440 is an Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction. It can mean the gas cap is not installed or working right, the purge solenoid has failed, or the canister is plugged and not working right.

C-220 1996, fuel pump went bad and replaced with a compatible one and original filter. Now it shows code PO135 & PO141, therefore both oxygen sensors were replaced by profeesional mechanic, but...

Those are both O2 sensor heater codes. Since the codes come back, that would indicate the shop misdiagnosed the problem by assuming you had bad sensors when the problem is somewhere in the O2 heater circuit. Take it back to the shop and have them rediagnose the circuit. The tank fill problem is most likely caused by a problem in the EVAP system. Read the post below to understand what that it and how it works.

I have a 2001 pontiac grand am se v6 . The service engine soon light came on and i got a free diagnostic ran and it brought up these codes; P0443, P0449, and P0141.

PO443, Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction
PO449, Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
PO141, Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2).
I don't understand why the free diagnostic didn't come with a service recommendation?
P.S. I hope that you know when one of your headlights are out!

code is P0449

The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for the vent valve/solenoid in the evaporative emission control system.

EVAP (Evaporative Emission System) purge/vent solenoid circuit condition

The solenoids and system wiring are monitored for opens or shorts

Probable Causes
1- Purge or vent solenoids defective
2- Check connevtor and wiring
3- Fuel saturated vapor canister
4- Failed EVAP vent solenoid

A code P0141 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • open or short to ground in the wiring harness
  • O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
  • O2 heater element resistance is high
  • Internal short or open in the heater element
Note: Typically a failed catalytic converter does not cause this code. You're more likely to see a P0420 code for a failed converter.
Possible Solutions
  • Replace oxygen sensor (cannot repair open or short that occurs internally to sensor)
  • Repair short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors

P0446 code

Ok code PO446 is your vehicles EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS SYSTEM the most common cause is the gas cap gor left offf and someone drove the car or the cap was not fully locked it will set the code
the other causes are leaking evaporative emission plumbing from the fuel tank to the engine compartment, someone changed the fuel pump and did not seal it properly,
Failure of a emission component in the evap system
The only way to diagnost these is an OBDII scan tool and a smoke machine the light will come on when the computer does its test of the system and there is a hole as small as .020"
1/20,000 of an inch !
The light can only be turned off by a OBDII scan tool
