Re: A/c compressor will not come on
A/C Compressors run on pressure. If your system is very low or not freon at all. the compressor will not run. Have your system checked for freon, have some put in and have it checked for possible leaks.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

There are two relevant relays. One is the AC relay, turns the compressor on. The other is the AC fan relay that turns the fan on. Find the AC relay in the underhood fuse/relay block. You could pull it out and with key on, check if one terminal for the relay has power as it should. If it does, swap these two relays, then see if compressor comes on. If it still doesn't work, the dash controls will need diagnosing. There may be a fuse for it, so check for that, a blown fuse. If it was working and just quit, it is probably a job for a shop.
if the lower fan speeds dont work but the fastest speed does the heater fan resistor block needs replacing. If the highest fan speed doesnt work leave it on there and check for power at heater blower fan, if power is on one wire and the other is an earth the blower motor fan needs replacing. Use a normal globe test light to check this. If no power on any wires to fan go back and check all fuses in car and under bonnet with same test light. If fuses are ok possible open circuit wire to fan.
Since you're looking for fuses and relays, I will assume that the compressor is not working. First check the suspension service shut off
switch located under the right side of the dash. If thats on, go to the fuse block under the left side of the dash and check fuses #4-#5-#20-#2
If they're ok, move to the fuse block under the hood on the left fender and check fuse #109 a large 50amp fuse it's best to use a 12v test light.
If that checks out, check the compressor relay located near the right
headlight assy. there will be 4 wires from the relay, lt blue/pink(hot to fuse #109) lt green/red(grnd to compressor) grey/red pwr to compressor)
drk blue/yell to suspension/steering module located behind ctr of dash.
Before you start these tests turn key to on(should be on for all tests)
use the 12v test light and test for power from grey/red wire at the
compressor + check lt grn/red wire for good ground. If you have pwr+grnd it's most likely a bad compressor. But if no power perform the
above tests. Hope this helps.
