Question about 1993 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
The insulation of the wires is almost inexistent from the throttle to the first plug and further up i cannot replace the wires because they have no colour anymore even i will replace them how i am gonna check if i am right so a diagram can help me a lot i took the car to the garage where they have done a diagnose test and they told me that the problem is the throttle and they show me that wires i will be greatful if somebody can send me a diagram with the wires colours
You will never get that wireharnes working properly again. it is a common problem for that era. There are companies that rebuild the pig tail connecter on the e.a actuater(throttle). Engine wireharnes is probably in need of replacement as well. The insulation for that era of german vehicle is meant to decompose and be enviromentally safe. They have since changed there polidies. I hate to say it but your wasting your time trying to rebuild that harness. Just either sublet your actuater for repair or replace it. subletting is alot cheaper
