I dont have an owners manual and I'm trying to find the location of the fuse for the fog lights in the fuse box... Which number is it??

Hi Roy, I haven't looked through the manual to see if it indicates the location of the fuse for fog lights, but here is a link to Mercury Mountaineer owner manuals, which might provide the information you are seeking: http://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerGuidePage&year=2005&make=Mercury&model=Mountaineer

Good luck!

Windows won't raise up in my 2001 Mercury Mountaineer due to bad fuse

That is a lot of don't knows

That tells me your better off at a repair shop

Why not check all the fuses

If one blew,it will blow again, until you
fix the real problem

If one window works, it won't be a fuse

The most common would be a window
switch you use the most, followed by a window
regulator,then a fail motor.

You should have an owners manual for
all your vehicles to look up fuses & lamps

My wife and i just purchased a used 2001 mercury mountaineer. It didnt come with an owners manual and I need to get a copy of the fuse panel diagram. Thanks

The dealer may be able to order one for you, and these kind of things show up on ebay and other online outlets for manuals. A Chiltons motor manual should have the info you need also

Where can i find the keycode to the drivers door entry on my mercury mountaineer 1997.. (the car does not have an owners manual, so i cant look it up) i just bought the car.

look for a plastic "credit card" in your owner manual packet. It has the code on it. The dealer can retrieve with his scanner too but it will cost @ $40 to hook it up. I think dealer can call Ford for you too. WIll need registration and ID and go in person. Call dealer first to confirm.

Entry code om drivers door

The keyless entry module is located in the rear of the vehicle on the driver's side. You will need to partially remove the left rear panel in the cargo area. You will then see the keyless entry module bolted behind a metal reinforcement bar. There is a sticker on the module that has the 5 digit entry code.
