You would need an auto electrician or a transmission expert to connect a pro grade scan tool computer and diagnose if the switch or solenoid is faulty. A scan tool at this level is bi-directional and can command solenoids to operate and confirm that they do.

This plug is for bank one sensor 2 for the 02 sensor past the cat convertor.

Try some tranX. My transmission would drop out from 2nd and 3rd , I put this in and with in 3 days it quit slipping. and shifted normally. It's been over 2 years now without a problem

i had the same problem on my 2000 ram 1500 , you need to chack your 4x4 vacuum lines they are very close to exhaust so they got melted , that was problem with my truck so good luck

It's worth a try, but it sounds like some internal transmission problems. Check the color of the fliud and see if there is a burnt smell to the fluid.

Lack of info, does it take a long time to **** to second gear, or second gear to first, either way you have possible governor pressure issues, or 2nd gear band adjustment, whats the rest of the shits like, throttle cable adjustment, drop the trans pan and look for debris, if you need more help, more info is needed from your end. Sounds like you are losing vacuum to your heater controls going down the road. Check the lines for kinks, or sucking together under throttle. Possibly could be a bad mode door, but not as likely.
