Could be a loose plug, bad ground, or a faulty relay. You'd have to get a wiring diagram and track down all the plugs and grounds so find out where the fault is.

No power to fuelpump

Check the ECM B fuse. If that is good pull the fuel pump relay two pins should be grounded all the time. One of those goes to the fuel pump the other is the solenoid side ground. One pin should have power all the time with the key on, this is the power supply for the pump. The last pin will have power for 3 to 5 seconds everytime you turn the key on or try to crank, this is the power from the PCM that energizes the solenoid. Let me know what you find.

I have a 87 Chevy suburban and I do not have full power to the fuelpump its got full power at the fuse its like it looses power from under the Hood to the pump what can I do to get power back

There should be a fuel pump relay. Maybe its losing power in the relay. Also part of the fuel pump circuit is the oil pressure switch. The ECM will send a ground to the relay to prime the pump and give fuel while cranking. When the oil pressure is up then the oil pressure sender/switch will energize the pump. If a relay was bad, most times extended cranking until oil pressure registers will turn the pump on and the vehicle will start.

May also check the pump ground. Might be on the frame near the tank.

My 2000 toyota celica gts has no fuel pressure to the fuel rail

this may be a few things that would cause this problem, first is the anti theft system, try another key first and see if it starts, if so then key is bad. the next step would be to scan the computer for any stored codes as these codes will help alot in find the problem, but if thats no a way due to the car not running then the next step would be to check for power at the fuelpump. if theres power at the pump then the pump is bad. you can try having someone beat on the bottom of the fuel tank with a rubber hammer and at the same time try starting it and if it runs then replace the pump, if theres no power at the fuel pump then check all fuses first and then try swapping the fuelpump relay with another relay with the same numbers to make sure the relays are the same. start with these things first. good day.

Have a 2000 gmc truck. It starts when you spray fluild in the injection but not sound from the fuel pump. And the truck was roll over, do i need to do a reset on it and if so how?

First check the fuse for the fuel pump, listed in the manual and also on the lid to the fuse box. Then check for power going to the pump, if there is power and no pumping, then the pump needs replaced. The pump is located in the fuel tank and you will have to drop the tank to get to it. The come out easy and replace easy, just getting the tank dropped is the bear. No resets that I am aware of and I been doing this for quite a while now.
It is possible that when it rolled over a wire got torn loose on the underside of the truck and this could be the problem.

When i first tune the key on the fuel pump dose not engage. I checked the battery and charging system and both are good, but if i jump the car or hook up my battery charger on start mode the fuel pump...

Alot of times a bad fuelpump will run with the extra voltage not often but sometimes, i would check the power voltage and ground at the fuelpump, this is the only way to know for sure, if you get 12 volts and have a good ground at the fuelpump then i would say the pump is bad, check all wires going to the battery, make sure there are no loose wires or connections at battery terminals and try changing the fuelpump relay with another one and see if that helps, a bad relay can also cause this, good luck.

Gmc yukon turns but will not start dont hear the fuel pump on in the fuel tank

With ignition key on run, use test light to verify you have positive & ground to fuelpump. No power (positive) check fuelpump fuse. No ground check fuelpump relay. If both positive & ground fuelpump needs to be replaced.

1997 F-250 no power to the fuel pump. The fuel pump works. The safety shut off is down but no power in any of the 2 wires to it. changing the fuel pump relay has no improvemnt.

Check the fuse block. Use a test light and don't rely on just looking at fuses. But if the main ignition control unit went bad, it will also cut the power to the fuel pump relay. Autozone will check the main control unit.

No power to fuel pump on 1989 jeep cherokee what is the proper sequence to follow checking electrical?

there is a fuelpump relay in the engine compartment
along with three or four other relays find the one that says fuelpump and replace it (chysler - dodge - jeep - plymouth all use the same relay and thy all blow out the cost is about 15.00 dollars at autozone
of you don' t get the pump to come on check the pigtail back by the tank if still no power the pump
replace the ignition switch for that turns on the relay under the hood
