Call your local dealer. they will/should walk you through it.. if you have another vehicle they may request you bring the key in to reduce fraud and auto theft.

Ford focus 2000 died and wouldnt restart for 10-15 mins after wards

It shouldn't matter if the key is the original or not it has been programmed to the car immobiliser, have you changed the batteries in the key, a low battery can cause the key and immobiliser not to communicate, did you take it to a ford garage, Main dealers are always the best to deal with especially when ECU and immobilisers are involved, there may even be a software update for your car that addresses this issue, may even need a new key but they are expensive, don't buy off eBay they won't work, hope this helps

2000 expedition keys in car and dead battery.

Ford is notorius for having fuel pump relay stick and drain your battery. If after replacing the battery the new one dies seemingly over night, try replacing the fuel pump relay.
If the key doesnt turn the lock I have to wonder if this was a dealer key? Or an after market that was cut incorrectly but programmed right.
Im not saying the above cant happen, only that I doubt it would on a vehicle this young.

2000 Jeep GC security key problem

You need to replace the SKIM module and have it programmed. It needs to be programmed to the PCM with the VIN and the keys all have to be programmed to the module. I don't think aftermarket scanners are capable of all that is involved so you may have to go to the dealer to get it done. I hope this helps.
