When braking in reverse I get a loud hooting noise coming from the back right hand wheel area. I have had the brakes checked and cleaned. My car is a fiat 500 twinair 2016 with 14000 miles on the cloc

if u hear that noise ONCE and then u have to go forward and backwards again so to hear it again is the noise of the braking pad that changes position since its a bit loose like all cars .

Normal.

My fiat 2002 fuel cut off switch won't stay down - time for a new one? Or is there a simple fix?

Sorry but the only fix is to replace it, the internal locking pawl is probably worn.

Window keeps falling out of the track

You need to remove the panel and access the window operating mechanism to see what's going on. Sounds as if the hardware holding the glass to the track has come loose. You should also have a maintenance manual (e.g. Chilton) that depicts such mechanisms if you want to DIY your car.

My drivers side window won't stay on the track when I lower it. It.s NOT powered. Is there something inside that I can't see keeping me from getting this done?

are you talking about the window going crooked when lowering it if so then there is a clip that mounts to the side of the window that keeps it in the track so it won`t do this.they sometimes break and you can buy the part and install it just be careful when installing so the window won`t break.if its the track at the lower edge of the window this is a pressure/glue type fit and the track will need to be cleaned, pushed together a bit and use a window glue and install the window into the track and let it sit for a couple of hours before trying it.
