if u hear that noise ONCE and then u have to go forward and backwards again so to hear it again is the noise of the braking pad that changes position since its a bit loose like all cars .
You need to remove the panel and access the window operating mechanism to see what's going on. Sounds as if the hardware holding the glass to the track has come loose. You should also have a maintenance manual (e.g. Chilton) that depicts such mechanisms if you want to DIY your car.
are you talking about the window going crooked when lowering it if so then there is a clip that mounts to the side of the window that keeps it in the track so it won`t do this.they sometimes break and you can buy the part and install it just be careful when installing so the window won`t break.if its the track at the lower edge of the window this is a pressure/glue type fit and the track will need to be cleaned,pushed together a bit and use a window glue and install the window into the track and let it sit for a couple of hours before trying it.
