So i was having issues with my blazer in the morning id start it up idle normally then shut off start up again idles at 2000rpm then bogs out like lack of fuel so i changed the fuel pump and fuel filter changed my plugs and wires tightened up the air box fixed my morning start issue but now the truck starts idles between 1000 and drops to about 700 where it should be but when i put it into drive it drops to 550rpm and sounds like its bogging out but wont die i hit the gas it chugs off the start till i hit about 20km/h then runs fine had an engine light flash on me twice but shuts off plugged in the obd2 and no codes came up check cat for any rattles does anyone have this problem? or know how to fix it?
Probly a vacuum leak-will set lite cause car runnin lean--listen for noises or chec hoses and gasket quality--problem wiil go away w increase speed--some leaks are hidden like egr valve condition-but it isnt stalling--------may want to try a scan w factory specific equip since car is old--cheap littl code readers wont cut it--dont go to a dealer-softwear dont go back that far

Sounds like either the ignition module and or a coil pack is the culprit. I dont remember what year they changed it but if your is the one where the coil packs/module are located on the back of the motor they are a little tricky to get to. You need to remove dog bone mount and replace with a tool that will pull the motor forward so you can gain easier access...good luck. Hopefully yours are right on the top where they should have been since day one... :-)

Replace your fuel filter - locateted on the drive side next to the frame. If that doesn't cut it - check your injectors

sounds real easy either a bad idle air control solenoid or more likley a blown throttle body gasket. to test fro a blown gasket, with engine running and cool spray carb cleaner or brake cleaner around base of tb were it bolts to intake. when it hits the bad area, should idle down and be normal for a second or 2. iac is possible, try this first since its so common and let me know
Here is the common cause of surges, cold stalls, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours.
To correct this problem get a can of throttle valve cleaner (it is made by CRC) from the local auto parts store, spray it into the air intake of the engine until you have used about half the can, you will need to hold the idle up while you do this, it will try to stall, after this shut the engine down and disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable for 5 minutes. The intake is know clean, if you continue to have the stall out the idle speed control valve may be defective and requires replacement.
