All of a sudden all dont work....are all on same circut I was just trying to disable the interior trunk light bulb on my 2001 Jetta (long story), and I accidentally made the whole thing spark. You need to have the VW dealer or a well equipped VW savvy repair shop scan the body control module (or whatever VW calls it) and see what codes return, it is likely the problem, but hold on you can't jut pop one in it must be programmed for your car.

2008 Volkswagen Jetta keyless entry & lock problems

If the system is not working even when you press the buttons on the door, then the problem is not with the remote control. I would first check if all the fuses are ok, if they are, I would check the wiring on the door to make sure there are no wires broken of chaffed. Focus first on getting the system working with the door buttons and after that is ok, the move on to the keyless system in case it still does not work. Hope this helps.

Anti theft alarm goes off after locking the car, this happens after about a minute after locking on my 2006 vw jetta

This is a clue, not a solution. It happens with my 1998 Jetta GT the same way, same delay. The condition comes and goes intermittently, and seems related to the trunk lock. There's a switch operated by the trunk key lock. I think that's where the problem lies. I can go for days with no problem, but sometimes after I have opened the trunk, when I lock the car the alarm goes off a minute later. Nothing will change it except opening and closing the trunk, but not every time.

Keyless entry, moon roof and door locks dtopped

Well there are more wires behind the radio which may have been unhooked while pulling out your old radio. If you cut any wires and left bare wire exposed its a possibility it could have touched and blew a fuse.

02 VW Jetta locks, remote, lights, windows stopped working

Same problem with an '03 Golf--remote entry, power windows, and interior lights stopped working. This was easily fixed by replacing fuse #14, (10 amp), located in the driver's side fuse block.
